I have conducted research related to occupational therapy, medical rehabilitation and care. The studies concern the following:
- The core content of occupational therapy is discussed and connected to development of intervention programs and assessment instruments
- Evaluation of meta-cognitive occupational-based training due to cognitive disorders among patients suffering from brain damage and stroke.
- Models for occupational (work) rehabilitation programs and a criterion-referred vocational assessment has been created aimed at clients suffering from pain.
- Environmental adaptive interventions among people living with para- and tetraplegia and overviews of interventions that enable clients' occupation .
- Temporal adaptations among people who are at sick-leave were investigated
- Patients with cancer diagnoses and musculoskeletal pain needs for occupational therapy and rehabilitation.
- A framework was constructed aimed at frail elderly people's evaluation of the hospital discharge process. Click here to see the presentation.
